Peel police are investigating a sudden death in Brampton and are appealing for information.
They said officers were called to the area of North Park Drive and Dixie Road on the morning of April 16 for reports of an injured and unconscious man.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was subsequently taken to the hospital, police said. The victim was later pronounced dead.
He has not been identified. The nature of the victim’s injuries has not been disclosed.
“Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries,” police said in a news release on Wednesday.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from the area between 8:09 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. that day is being asked to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
