Several lanes of Highway 401, between Mavis and Mississauga roads, have reopened following a collision involving a dump truck late Monday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a truck loaded with gravel was travelling eastbound just before 5 p.m. when a mechanical failure occurred, causing the vehicle to hit the concrete guide rail and spill gravel into the westbound lanes.
