Police in Peel Region say they’ve identified a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing in Mississauga late last week.
The incident happened on May 19 near Hurontario Street and Agnes Street, just north of Dundas Street.
Peel Regional Police say they were called to that area at around 12:15 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Investigators say two people got into a fight in a nearby parking lot, during which one of them was stabbed.
The victim, identified by police as 32-year-old Chay Wilson, of Mississauga, was found with life-threatening injuries on the street corner. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, Jerome Edwards, 28, of no fixed address, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for second-degree murder.
He is described as Black male with a medium build, short black hair, and a black goatee.
The suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a black zipped style jacket, fluorescent green pants, yellow Timberland-style boots, and a black watch on his right wrist.
He is known to frequent the are of Hurontario Street and Dundas Street.

Police are advising the public that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, and are urging anyone who sees him to not to approach and instead dial 9-1-1.
“Investigators are urging Edwards to seek legal counsel and surrender to police. They also remind the public that anyone found harbouring or assisting the suspect may be arrested and charged,” they said in a news release.
This investigation is ongoing and anyone with further information about this investigation and/or the whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205, or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
