A 48-year-old Brampton man is dead after an overnight collision on Highway 410 in Mississauga early Saturday morning.
In a news release, Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called at approximately 12:05 a.m. to the southbound lanes of Highway 410 near Derry Road for a collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian.
The 48-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said, adding that no foul play is suspected.
As part of the investigation, all southbound lanes of Highway 410 between Steeles Avenue and Derry Road were closed for several hours, though roads did reopen at 5 a.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the OPP.
