One person has died following a serious two-vehicle collision in Brampton on Saturday afternoon, paramedics say.
Two others, meanwhile, remain in hospital: one with life-threatening injuries and the other with minor, non-life-threatening, injuries, Peel Regional Paramedic Services says.
The crash happened near Dixie Road and Queen Street.
Peel Regional Police said they were called to that area just around 1:25 p.m. for reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Currently, the intersection of Dixie Road and Queen Street is closed all directions and police are urging motorists to use alternate routes.
Peel Regional Police are expected to speak with the media shortly.
