Peel Regional Police are searching for multiple suspects following a shooting in Brampton over the weekend.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Chamney Court, near Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue East, at about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Investigators say a verbal altercation occurred before the shooting. The incident is being treated as an isolated and targeted event.
“Residents and business owners in the area are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity,” police said in a news release.
Police are asking anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage related to the incident to contact investigators.
