Published:

Peel police says a man was pronounced dead at the scene after reportedly falling into a construction hole at an industrial site.

A man has died after falling into a construction hole in Brampton on Monday afternoon, police say.

The incident happened on Kennedy Road South near Clarence Street, just south of Queen Street East.

Peel Regional Police said they were called to that area just before 4 p.m. for reports of an industrial accident.

“On arrival, first responders tended to an adult male who sadly died at the scene despite their best efforts,” they told CTV News Toronto.

Peel Regional Paramedic Services would only say that they also attended that area and assessed one adult, but did not transport them to the hospital.
