Peel police will be announcing the results of a “major” retail theft probe at a news conference at Square One Mall on Friday morning.

Officers with the 11 Division Break and Enter Auto and Retail Organized Crime Unit will speak to members of the media about the investigation at 11 a.m.

Police said officers have recovered “a significant quantity of stolen property.”

“Peel Police will also highlight ongoing efforts to combat retail theft across the region through targeted, intelligence-led policing,” a news release issued by police read.
