1 person critically injured in Brampton shooting, 2 suspects wanted

One person has been critically injured in a shooting in Brampton.

Peel police say a call came in at 3:38 p.m. for a shooting near Earlsbridge Boulevard and Edenbrook Hill Drive.

Peel paramedics tell CP24 that they transported one patient to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Two suspects, dressed in black clothing, fled on foot, police say. No other suspect descriptions have been released.

They add that there is a large police presence in the area as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
