Motorcyclist ejected in Mississauga, airlifted to trauma centre: paramedics

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries after a crash in Mississauga on Thursday.

A motorcyclist has serious injuries after being ejected from his vehicle in Mississauga on Thursday, paramedics say.

The crash happened in the Erin Mills neighbourhood, near Ridgeway Drive and McMaster Road, which is east of Highway 403 and north of Dundas Street West.

Peel Regional Police said they attended that area just before 3 p.m. for reports of a singular motorcycle collision.

Peel Regional Paramedic Services said they arrived at the scene just after 3 p.m. and assessed an adult male who had been ejected from his motorcycle. They said he was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.

Currently, Ridgeway Drive is closed in both directions from McMaster Road to Dovetail Mews.
