A child was rushed to the hospital in life-threatening condition after being pulled from a swimming pool in Mississauga on Tuesday, police say.
The incident happened at a home on Fifth Line West, just south of Dundas Street West.
Peel Regional Police has since told CP24 that officers attended a “call for service” near Dundas Street West and Erin Mills Parkway at approximately 11:30 a.m. for a reported drowning.
A media officer would only confirm that a child was transported to a local hospital.
“We have no further information to provide at this time and ask that the privacy of the family be respected during this difficult time,” Const. Laurie McCann wrote in an email.
