Two people previously wanted in connection with a hotel robbery in Mississauga, where a victim was allegedly held at gunpoint, have been arrested, Peel Regional Police say.
On March 7, officers responded to reports of a robbery at a hotel in the Hurontario Street and Derry Road area at about 3:30 a.m.
Investigators allege an adult male victim was robbed at gunpoint by three suspects, who then fled the scene. The victim suffered minor injuries during the incident.
Police later executed a search warrant at the hotel, which led to the recovery of a firearm.
As a result, police arrested Abdoulkader Abdi, 33, of Toronto. He was charged with various robbery and firearm-related offences, as well as failure to comply with a release order.
On Thursday, police announced the arrests of Kimberly MacIntyre, 28, of Mississauga, and Latef Tag El Din, 30, of Calgary, who had been wanted since March.
Both have been charged with robbery.
The charges have not been proven in court.
