Peel regional police are searching for a suspect after a man was seriously injured in a stabbing in Mississauga early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the Dixie Road and Eglinton Avenue area at approximately 1 a.m. following reports of a stabbing.
Police say the victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a trauma centre.

The suspect is described as a Black man standing about five-foot-11 with cornrows who speaks with a Caribbean accent. Police say he was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with red stripes and black shoes.
Police also note that the suspect was seen leaving the area in a dark-coloured minivan.
