Bus shelter struck in two-vehicle crash in Mississauga

A bus shelter was struck during a two-vehicle crash in Mississauga on Aug. 5, 2026.

Peel police say one person was taken to hospital after a driver crashed into a bus shelter and light pole in Mississauga early Wednesday morning.

It happened near Boyer Boulevard and Mavis Road at around 3 a.m.

Peel police said two vehicles were involved in the crash and one struck a bus shelter during the collision.

One driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It is unclear if any charges will be laid in the crash.
