Provincial police say what started as a simple traffic stop resulted in one less truck on the road.
On Wednesday, Caledon OPP initially stopped a commercial truck a seat belt infraction.
However, when officers took a closer look, a number of issues arose.
Police claim the truck displayed multiple licence plates, had no working brakes and was overloaded.
In total, 23 charges were laid against the truck driver and the company that owns the vehicle.
