A man is wanted after a woman and a teenage girl were sexually assaulted in Brampton on Monday.
Peel Regional Police said the first incident happened around noon while a woman in her 20s was shopping at Bramalea City Centre, located near Dixie Road and Clark Boulevard.
The suspect approached the woman from behind and allegedly grabbed her butt.
Police said the woman pushed the suspect away and fled. She later contacted police to report the incident.
Shortly before 2 p.m., at Bramalea Terminal, which is just east of the mall, a girl under 18 years old was waiting for a bus when the same suspect approached her and engaged her in a conversation.
Police said the suspect asked personal questions and then sat beside the girl on a bench.
“When the victim attempted to leave, the suspect allegedly grabbed her breast and then grabbed her buttocks from behind,” police allege.
She left the terminal and later called police.
In a news release on Tuesday, police released images of the suspect described as a Black man in his mid-30s to 40s, between five-foot-eight and five-foot-10 with a medium to heavy build, short black hair, and a patchy black facial hair.
“Investigators continue to investigate and remind residents to stay aware of their surroundings, especially when alone,” police said.
