If you bought a lotto ticket in Etobicoke last night, it’s worth checking your numbers this morning.
The OLG says the jackpot-winning ticket for a $60-million Lotto Max prize was sold in the west Toronto borough.
“The $60 million jackpot is the first Lotto Max jackpot win in Ontario in 2025,” the OLG said in a news release. “In 2024, there were a record-breaking 11 jackpot wins in Ontario, totalling $525 million in Lotto Max jackpot prizing.”
In addition to the jackpot win, a $1 million Encore ticket was sold in Dufferin County.
The next Lotto Max draw, worth $15 million, will take place Jan. 24.
The OLG said Lotto Max players have won a total of $8.9 billion since 2009. That includes 111 jackpot wins and 937 Maxmillions prizes.
