2 female suspects sought after teen stabbed downtown: Toronto police

Police say a 17-year-old girl was involved in a stabbing incident with two female suspects shortly before 1 a.m. Friday morning.

Police say a 17-year-old was injured following a stabbing in Toronto’s downtown core.

It happened near Queen Street West and Augusta Avenue at around 12:50 a.m.

According to police the teen was stabbed after a dispute with two female suspects.

The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspects fled the area prior to the arrival of officers, police said.

No suspect description has been released and police say the investigation is ongoing.
