A cyclist riding an electric bike is in critical condition after being struck by the driver of a vehicle in south Etobicoke.
The collision occurred in the Long Branch neighbourhood, near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Thirty Third Street.
Toronto police said they were called to that area at 10:12 a.m. for reports of a male cyclist who had been struck by a vehicle.
The victim was taken to the hospital by paramedics with life-threatening injuries, they said.
The driver, meanwhile, remained on-scene.
