Cyclist struck in Toronto’s Summerhill neighbourhood suffers critical injuries: paramedics

Police say a cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in the Avenue Rd. and Dupont St. area.

A cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision in Toronto’s Summerhill neighbourhood, paramedics say.

The collision occurred near Avenue Road and Dupont Street at around 10:30 p.m.

The cyclist was transported to a trauma centre in critical condition, paramedics told CP24.

Police said the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene.
