Northbound Highway 400 has reopened at Rutherford Road following a collision between a tractor trailer and a service truck near Major Mackenzie Drive that sent a male to the hospital.
Traffic was diverted off the highway at Rutherford and all ramps to the 400 northbound from Major Mackenzie Drive and Rutherford Road were closed as police investigated.
The southbound lanes were unaffected, Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, of the the OPP, said.

Aurora OPP asked drivers to avoid the area, if possible. Police added that delays were to be expected and urged motorists to plan alternate routes.
In a follow-up post on social media, police said the victim, whom they identified as the driver of the service truck, is in serious, but stable, condition.
