A car collided with a concrete barrier in a parking garage at a Mississauga hospital on Thursday and ended up precariously hanging from the fourth floor of the building for several hours.

The incident took place at Credit Valley Hospital just after 11 a.m. In a post on social media, police said that the vehicle crashed into the concrete barrier which then “broke free and landed on parked vehicles beneath.”

Police said that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Footage from the CTV News chopper shows the vehicle’s two front wheels outside of the building with its dislocated bumper dangling below.

In the footage, the concrete barrier can be seen atop the roofs of three vehicles that were parked immediately outside of the garage at the time. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, police say. The vehicle was safely removed from its perch by around 1 p.m.
