Toronto police are investigating after a man was found dead in the city’s Beach area early Sunday morning.
In a post on social media, officials say officers were called to the area of Queen Street East and Wheeler Avenue, east of Woodbine Avenue, at around 6 a.m.
Police say the man was located on the street and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators later said that they would be not be providing further information as this incident is “not being treated as suspicious and is not a criminal matter.”
Wheeler Avenue is closed at Queen Street East as the investigation continues.
