Motorcyclist injured after collision with Wheeltrans vehicle in Scarborough, police say

A motorcyclist is injured following a collision with a Wheeltrans vehicle in Scarborough on Wednesday morning.

The collision happened just after 8 a.m. in the area of Warden Avenue and Ellesmere Road.

Police say the airbags deployed in the Wheeltrans vehicle.

Paramedics tell CTV News Toronto they took a man to a local trauma centre with serious injuries.

In an update, police say the injuries are non-life-threatening.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are unknown at this time.
