4 in hospital after driver plows into TTC bus in North York: paramedics

Toronto police are still investigating after a truck struck the back of a TTC bus, sending four people to hospital with minor injuries.

Four people have been taken to the hospital following a collision in North York between a TTC bus and another vehicle, say paramedics.

The crash happened near Lawrence Avenue West and Marlee Avenue.

Toronto police said they were called to that area at 5:43 p.m. for reports of a collision involving a TTC bus. They say the TTC bus was hit by the driver of another vehicle.

Paramedics said the four patients have injuries that range from minor to moderate in nature, but they’re all considered to be non-life threatening.

Police, meanwhile, are saying that two people have been sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Motorists should expect possible delays in the area and are being advised to use alternate routes.
