2 men taken to hospital following stabbing in Scarborough

A police officer is on the scene of a double stabbing in Scarborough on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025.

Toronto police are investigating a stabbing in Scarborough that left two men injured on Thursday afternoon.

The stabbing happened in the area of Benjamin Boulevard and Safari Street, near Eglinton Avenue East and Midland Avenue, shortly after 2 p.m.

Police say they were called for a fight, but when officers arrived, they located an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man with stab wounds. Police initially said one of the victims was a youth.

Both men have been taken to the hospital, and according to Toronto paramedics, one victim had serious but non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on the condition of the other victim.

Police say they have no information about possible suspects. The circumstances that led to the stabbing are unknown.
