Toronto police say a man has been rushed to hospital with stab wounds following an “altercation” in Etobicoke late Friday night.

Officials say officers were called to the area of Dundas Street West and Mabelle Avenue at around 10:56 p.m.

Police say they located a male victim in his 20s suffering from stab wounds.

He was later transported to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries according to paramedics.

As a result of the investigation, Mabelle Avenue was previously closed south of Dundas Street West. However, as of 7:21 a.m., official say all roads have reopened.
