A stretch of Woodbine Avenue in Toronto’s Beach area that was closed in both directions following a collision involving a vehicle and a police cruiser has reopened.
The crash happened at the intersection of Woodbine and Kingston Road.
Toronto police said they were called to the area just after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a collision involving two vehicles, one of which is a police cruiser.
Police say an officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Woodbine was temporarily closed northbound from Queen Street and southbound from Kingston as police investigated.
