Stretch of Woodbine Avenue in Toronto’s Beach area reopens following crash involving police cruiser

A stretch of Woodbine Avenue in Toronto’s Beach area that was closed in both directions following a collision involving a vehicle and a police cruiser has reopened.

The crash happened at the intersection of Woodbine and Kingston Road.

Toronto police said they were called to the area just after 2:30 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a collision involving two vehicles, one of which is a police cruiser.

Police say an officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Woodbine was temporarily closed northbound from Queen Street and southbound from Kingston as police investigated.
