Man in his 30s seriously injured in downtown Toronto shooting

Police are still investigating after man in his 30s was shot in the area of Wellesley Street and Bleecker Street in downtown Toronto.

A man in his 30s has been seriously injured in a shooting in downtown Toronto.

Police say a call came in shortly after 9:30 p.m. for a shooting in the area of Wellesley and Bleecker Streets.

When officers arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound, police say.

Toronto paramedics told CTV News that they transported the victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

In a later update, police said the victim’s injuries were serious but non-life-threatening.

No suspect information has been released.
