Man in his 40s with ‘life-threatening injuries’ after stabbing on College Street

Toronto police investigating after a man in his 40s suffered life-threatening stab wounds near Kensington Market on Saturday October 4, 2025 (CP24 photo).

Toronto police say a man in his 40s is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing near Kensington Market early Saturday morning.

The incident happened near College Street and Augusta Avenue at around 1 a.m.

Officers located the victim with a stab wound and confirm he was transported to hospital in critical condition.

The suspect is described as a Black male wearing beige pants.
