Toronto police are investigating a dump truck overturned in a ditch along Highway 27 late Saturday morning, prompting lane closures and heavy traffic in the area.
Officers were called to the scene near Neartic Drive just before 10:45 a.m.
Northbound lanes of Highway 27 were initially closed at Bethridge Road while crews responded. One lane has since reopened, and traffic is moving slowly.
Police say the driver’s injuries are not yet known.
Investigators are asking anyone with dash camera footage of the collision to contact Traffic Services at 416-808-2300.
