Two Toronto men are wanted as part of an investigation into a series of distraction thefts involving ATMs and stolen debit cards, police say.

Officers responded to a call for theft on March 23 in the Eglinton and Pharmacy Avenue area.

The two suspects attended multiple ATMs in Toronto, where investigators say they would follow victims and watch them retrieve money from the machines. Then the suspects would allegedly observe the victim’s input their PIN before following the victim out and obtaining their debit card through “distraction methods,” police report.

The suspects would then allegedly withdraw funds and make purchases using the stolen debit card, investigators say.

Constantin-Claudiu Paraschiv, 37, is wanted for 11 offences related to fraud and theft.

Silviu-Romeo Florian, a 38-year-old, is wanted for three similar offences.
