Suspect sought after Toronto paramedic SUV hit by large rock while responding to shooting call

Toronto police are searching for a suspect accused of throwing a rock at an emergency vehicle in North York on Wednesday night.

Police said a paramedic was driving to a shooting call on Jane Street when a large rock hit their SUV and shattered the windshield.

The paramedic, police said, was able to control the vehicle and asked for assistance. They were not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a Black man, six feet tall with a medium build and was last seen wearing a dark red hoodie and dark jeans.
