A pedestrian is in the hospital following a collision in Vaughan late Sunday morning.
The crash happened near Famous Avenue and Colossus Drive, which is south of Highway 7 and east of Weston Road.
York Regional Police say they were called to that area just before noon for reports of a pedestrian that had been struck during multi-vehicle collision.
Police initially said a 60-year-old woman was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries. They later said that her injuries are considered life-threatening.
Police have now said that the woman is in serious condition in hospital.
Colossus was closed between Weston and Famous, but has since reopened.
The Major Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
