Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly made threatening comments against teenagers in two separate incidents in North York that are being investigated as hate-motivated offences.
Toronto police said they were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West in both instances, with the first one occurring on Sept. 15.
Three youths were on board a TTC bus when an unknown woman engaged with them and allegedly made harassing comments, police said.
The other incident happened on Oct. 31. Police believe the same suspect got on a TTC bus and once inside engaged another youth victim in a conversation.
She allegedly made harassing comments toward the youth.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, red sweater and a beanie hat.
Investigators are asking anyone who can identify the suspect to contact them at 416-808-3500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or www.222tips.com.
