A man is wanted after one person was assaulted and robbed in Leslieville earlier this week.
Toronto police said they got an assault call in the area of Gerrard Street and Woodfield Road, east of Greenwood Avenue, just before 4:45 p.m. on Sunday.
Two people became engaged in a verbal dispute and one of them allegedly assaulted the other. The suspect also stole the victim’s phone, police allege.
Police have released an image of the suspect, who they describe as being in his 40s, six-foot-two with a muscular build and having dreadlocks.
He was last seen wearing a toque, glasses, red hoodies under a black jacket and black pants.
He is wanted for assault and theft under $5,000.
