An elderly male pedestrian has been seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough Friday night.
Emergency crews responded to Warden Avenue north of Bridletown Circle shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Police said the pedestrian was rushed to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
In a subsequent update, the pedestrian’s injuries were deemed not life-threatening, police said.
The driver remained at the scene.
The circumstances that led to the collision are not immediately clear.
