Pedestrian in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by vehicle in Etobicoke

A pedestrian has been rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in north Etobicoke.

Toronto police say they got a call for a collision in the area of Finch Avenue West and Kipling Avenue around 7:13 p.m.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries, police say.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, police say, remained at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are not immediately known.
