Toronto police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly committed an indecent act on a TTC subway train on Tuesday.

Police said the suspect got on an eastbound train at St. George Station and approached a passenger.

He tried to engage the passenger in a conversation but failed, police said. The suspect then sat down and allegedly committed an indecent act in view of the victim.

Police said the victim later exited the train.

In a news release on Thursday, police released an image of the suspect who is described as between 40 and 50 years old, five-foot-10 and was last seen wearing a black hat, sunglasses, a light blue shirt, black sweatpants and black combat-style boots.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 416-808-5500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
