Stabbing at Danforth and Broadview leaves victim in critical condition

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are unclear, but police have taped off an apartment building just north of the intersection.

Toronto police say a victim stabbed at Broadview and Danforth avenues Friday morning is in life-threatening condition.

Emergency crews were called to the busy east-end intersection at 6:52 a.m. for reports a female was located in the area with stab wounds.

A male was arrested nearby.

The victim has been transported to hospital via emergency run.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing are unclear, but police have taped off an apartment building just north of the intersection.

A Toronto police spokesperson said they could not confirm whether or not the victim knows the suspect.
