A lockdown at a North York high school has been lifted after police searched the building following reports of a person with a gun on Monday afternoon.
The lockdown was put into place at James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School near Finch Avenue and Keele Street at around 3:20 p.m. but investigators lifted the order at around 4:30 p.m.
Police say that a search of the building was carried out and no firearm or evidence of gunfire was located.
Aerial footage from the scene showed more than a dozen police cruisers parked outside of the school on Monday afternoon.
