Suspect wanted in Toronto stabbing that left man injured

Toronto police are looking for a suspect in connection with a stabbing in the city’s Fairbank neighbourhood last week.

Police said a man was walking on the sidewalk in the area of Dufferin Street and Castlefield Avenue, north of Eglinton Avenue West, shortly before 4 p.m. on Nov. 25, when an unknown suspect approached him.

The suspect allegedly then stabbed the man and fled.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said in a news release on Tuesday that the victim did not know the suspect.

They also released an image of the suspect, who is between 20 and 30 years old, five-foot-nine, with a slim build and was wearing a dark jacket, a grey sweater, and black and white shoes and carrying a red hat.
