Dentist charged after allegedly sexually assaulting 2 patients at North York clinic

A dentist working at a clinic in North York has been accused of sexually assaulting two patients last month.

The first incident happened on Nov. 17 at ‘Smiles on Steeles’ dental clinic, at 4101 Steeles Ave. W., just west of Jane Street.

Toronto police say a 34-year-old woman was receiving treatment when a dentist allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Investigators further allege on Nov. 20, a 29-year-old woman was receiving treatment at the same dentist’s office when the accused sexually assaulted her.

William Gutierrez, 61, of Toronto, was arrested on Nov. 23 and charged with two counts of sexual assault. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 6.
