Toronto police say a man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after an early-morning shooting in Etobicoke.
Officers were called to the Humberwood Boulevard and Kingsplate Crescent area at around 3:36 a.m. Saturday, after reports of a man who had been shot.
Police arrived to find a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to hospital by emergency run, where he remains in life-threatening condition.
Investigators say the suspects may have fled in a dark sedan. There is currently no suspect description.
Police remain in the area, and a large emergency presence is expected throughout the morning.
