Toronto police say a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after an early morning stabbing inside a building.
Officers responded to reports of a male who had been stabbed in the area of Broadview Avenue and Pretoria Avenue just north of Danforth Avenue at around 3:49 a.m.
Police arrived on scene and confirmed a the stabbing occurred inside a building. The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries, they added.
There is no suspect information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
