These were the most popular baby names in Ontario in 2024

Ontario has revealed the most popular baby names of 2024.

Olivia topped the list for girls’ names for the 16^th year in a row, while Noah was the most popular pick for boys for the sixth consecutive year.

Here are the top 10 names Ontario parents picked last year:

Boy names:

1. Noah

The province released the data on Tuesday and reminded parents to register their child’s birth within 30 days with its 5-in-1 Newborn Bundle. The package allows parents to apply for their child’s birth certificate, Social Insurance Number, Canada Child Benefits (including the Ontario Child Benefit) and Education Savings Referral service in one form.
