3 suspects sought following attempted armed robbery in downtown Toronto

Three people are wanted following an alleged attempted armed robbery at a store in downtown Toronto last week.

Toronto police say officers responded to a retail location in the area of Dundas Street West and Bay Street at around 4:40 p.m. on Dec. 17.

It is alleged that three male suspects entered the store and attempted to steal a pair of skates.

When security intervened, the suspects dropped the skates and took out a firearm, police say. They then fled the area.

Police describe the first suspect as a male between five-foot-eight and five-foot-ten, weighing between 100 and 120 lbs., with a skinny build. He had unshaven facial hair and was wearing a balaclava, black jacket, black jeans with white lettering on the right leg, black shoes with white trim. He was the one who allegedly had a black firearm.

The second suspect is also described as male, standing five-foot-seven and weighing between 150 to 170 lbs. with a muscular build and facial hair. He was described as wearing a balaclava, black hoody, black puffer jacket, black track pants, black shoes with white socks, and a black backpack.

Police describe the third male suspect as being five-foot-nine to five-foot-ten, between 130 to 140 lbs. with a medium build. He has black short twists in his hair, a black goatee, a scar under his right eye, and was wearing a black hoody with white lettering reading, “Get on my LVL”, a black puffer jacket, black pants, white runners, and a black backpack.
