Man shows up at hospital with gunshot wound after North York shooting

Toronto police are investigating after a man showed up at hospital with a gunshot wound following an early-morning shooting in North York.

Police say incident happened somewhere in the area of Leslie Street and Highway 401, adding that the victim attended the hospital around 5:45 a.m.

The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Investigators say it is unclear exactly where the shooting took place.

There is no suspect description at this time.
