Police are searching for three suspects after a robbery at a Cash for Gold business in Hamilton that was partially captured on video.
Police say the robbery occurred at a business on Fennell Avenue East on Hamilton Mountain at around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
According to investigators, three suspects armed with a firearm and crowbars forced their way through multiple doors to get into the rear of the building, where one employee was working.
A fourth suspect was waiting in a parked car outside, police said.
During the robbery, police say, the suspects stole gold, silver, ad cash before fleeing in a dark-coloured SUV.
Detailed suspect descriptions were not provided by investigators.
Police have now released images of the suspects as well as video footage of the incident.
The video shows the masked suspects entering the main door of the premises and walking up a staircase.
“Investigators are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved,” Hamilton police said in a news release.
