Toronto-bound QEW reopens after collision in Oakville

A tractor-trailer is blocking multiple lanes on the Toronto-bound QEW in Oakville.

A jackknifed tractor-trailer blocked multiple lanes on the Toronto-bound QEW on Friday morning, resulting in delays.

The tractor-trailer ended up in the ditch, blocking lanes just before Third Line, police said in a post on social media.

The issue was first reported at around 10:30 a.m.

Police said it was a result of a two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.

The Toronto-bound lanes were blocked for several hours as crews worked to remove the truck.

Just after 1 p.m., the lanes reopened.
